My website *is* a phpBB forum (in my sig).

I must set around to doing the mousover light-up thing on my board some time... and take out the underline bits on my board too, since I don't like them.

My own board is pretty basic, I haven't done many modifications to the original template. The plan is to write my own template in June which will completely change the whole look of the board (altering some of the layout as well as just the style). I'll post again when it's done.

As far as new members go, I just link from pages on my old site at the moment. The linkexchange you have set up looks like the right way to go  "[Smile]"

best way to get people flocking in is offer things that can rarely be found, i.e. i gained 200 members after i posted the steam powered application on the forums

I have a moderately heavily hacked phpBB 2.0.4 board at http://www.reallifeforums.com.  In the Announcements forum, there's a Technical FAQ thread that has all of the mods installed.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask about them.
