Do most people who have blogs (web logs) have them on their home pages? That seems to be the case with a lot of sites I've seen. Does it make sense to link to a blog from a more comprehensive home page or does that defeat the purpose? I was wondering what people's thoughts were.

I think some people link to other sites for their blogs because they can't run scripts on their own servers.

Luckily on lunarpages, you can use scripts.

yes, most bloggers have set up their blog on their main pages.  sites that don't use a blog as its main content usually have a splash page as a main page that links to the various types of content that is offered.

i think its nicer to have your blog incorperated into your webpage, unless due to content it would be unappropriate. i also dont like the blogger service. I like a script called  greymatter for things like news posting and blogs.
