Hello,

I've been trying to figure out how to inlcude an option to logout in the memebers area of my site.  I can't find anything via web searches.  Anyone know how I can create this option or where I can get a script to do that?

It depends on the script you are using for your members section.

You should ask the people who wrote your script.

Do you use cookies or sessions to log your users in? (I'm assuming cookies since sessions would just terminate after they time out).

And what language is the script in?

To make a cookie expire, i.e.  log the person out, all you have to do is set the expiry date to a time in the past.

I don't think I'm using cookies.  If I am I didn't set them up and since I'm the only one working on my site, I didn't set any cookies up.  "[Smile]"    My billing company told me the login sessions will expire on thier own and I see that they do.  But having them close a session through logout when thier done seems more secure to me.  If I can't figure it out I will leave it like it is but I am concerned about security.
