I don't know if this is the right section to ask, so apologies if it's not.

My website is for parents to find out about things going on where I live. I currently have a forum, a map and a calendar that are well-used and work well enough. However, I would like to create a searchable database of things to do. For example, I'd like people to be able to search by location, age range, type of activity etc.

I'm sure this is simple enough to do but I'm not really sure where to start as I'm really a beginner. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Louise

I searched around for free or inexpensive event/calendar scripts that would do what you want but did not find much that had the amount of searchable detail that you are looking for.  I think you might be able to SuperCali script http://supercali.inforest.com to approach what you want with a little tweaking.
