Hello,

I am trying to turn off the horizontal scroll bar that appears in my DHTML embedded window.  And I can't figure it out.

The horizontal bar is not used for anything, and just looks terrible, in my opnion.

It appears here..

Does anyone know of a segment of code that would remedy this ?

Thanks

i only know of turning off scrolling all together. i'll check it out more. have you thought of using an inline frame instead of a dhtml frame? i used to use inline frames all the time and never had that problem.

This is no problem.
Use a scroll layer instead and turn off the scrollbars.
Now you can choose how your scrollbar should look. You use images or text to scroll.
Have a look at  Test spage

Hope you can use this.

Hey,

I'm trying to use that scroll window that you posted in a previous post, is there some scripts that I need as well ?

I'm kinda blank when it comes to javascript..  if you could kinda walk me through setting up that window that you made up.. that would be SO great.

Thanks again.

Forgot!

I've got a question about the formatting of the text in that scrollable window.

What styles or code is used to space that text ?

I've tried using that same size and font on some of my pages, but when you use 8point, it doesnt space properly between the lines.

Just a quick question.    "[Razz]"

Thanks!

Hey Fred,

Its working great dude!  Check it out!

http://saturn.lunarpages.com/~svenh1/liquidbeat/scrolltest/popup.html

I am having problems with a code bug I can't seem to find.  I posted a thread about it under "DeBug"..  if you could help me out it would be most appreciated!

I can't seem to find out where its coming from and what needs to be changed, its probably something simple, like always, a missed bracket or typo ..

Thanks for the followup!  Its nice when someone cares!!    "[Razz]"
