Anyone know any easy way to display HTML,PHP or ASP code without haveing the browser try and interpret it? There has to be something real simple that I am not thinking of.

well, there are certain codes to display symbols like brackets and such without the browser trying to convert them to HTML. one easy trick is to use an editor such as Dreamweaver, and paste it into the document as text, and it places all the symbols for you.

"<" gives you a "<". ">" gives you a ">".

when i find the rest of them, i'll post them

well I want it done kinda autmaticaly so I will have to write a script that reads the file and replaces my brackets with "& lt" "& gt". It shouldn't be too hard. Thanks

-now how did you escape those codes so they were not turned into the symbols? heh
