So I have a situation where I want to embed another site in a window in my site. In the past, Iíve used iFrame to embed google maps into my pages, and it works great. Now I want to embed a squareup.com/market/ site in my page. I havenít actually created a market yet, so I canít post the link here. But none the less, their links are to a directory, not a file, so iFrame isnít working for me.  Can any of you give me some advice on how to embed a window to a directory, rather than a file?

If it impacts things, most likely Iíll be sticking the code in a post or page on Wordpress.

Cheers and thanks for the help.

An <iframe> shouldn't care about whether the URL is a directory or a file, so long as it eventually produces some sort of HTML page. Even if you tested with an empty directory, you still should have gotten a 40x error page back. At squareup's end, they should have some sort of index.* file in there that  produces a page. It's also possible that it's SEF, and gets translated to a real dynamic URL. So at any rate, you are never really embedding a window to a directory -- there should always be an HTML page returned.

Can you show us a stripped down minimal HTML page that illustrates this problem?

Interesting. No actually I donít have a test page up at the moment. But for the sake of speaking, this is what I tried, just a random market that I have no connection to: https://squareup.com/market/tweed-coffee-roasters

I can put one up...

Code:
<iframe src="https://squareup.com/market/tweed-coffee-roasters" style="border:0px #FFFFFF none;" name="/squareup" scrolling="no" frameborder="1" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px" height="60px" width="468px"></iframe>

Edit. Oy late night typos! Smile  Sorry.

Hi buddy, I was hoping that you were able to complete this. If ever you got this to work, can you please also post a sample script?

Sorry. I never found a solution for this. I still would love to. I even approached square up to see if they could help. No luck.
If you find something. Please let me know.
