Hi there,

Not sure if this is the section to ask in..so appologies in advance! lol

I have a subdomain and i use web forwarding so that the addy is just www.thesite.com.
Is there a way so that no one can see the full address in the status bar?

When i access the site it always shows the full addy..ie www.myaddy.com/hersite/index.html.

Is there a code that stops or hides this?

Many thanks

Honey

The subject of your topic answers it Smile  You can do it in a frameset, refreshing a frame n the page using the META refresh tag.  If you do so, be sure to disable the web forwarding.

Don't put the meta tag in the main frameset page.  Put it in the page that the frameset calls up for the main or largest frame of the set.

It will be difficult to hide the urls in links.  There's some info on frames at http://codepunk.hardwar.org.uk/ahtml16.htm

You could always use javascript that will set the text of the status bar.
There's info on that at:
