My problem is this:
I use ordinary HTML and frames. Let`s say menu.html and main.html, in main.html I press the link pictures.html which opens in the same window as main.html. Pictures are shown as thumbs in pictures.html. Pressing a thumb (picture), the picture opens in the whole page, as I am using _top. So far, so good. The problem is that when I click back in IE 6, what opens up is menu.html and main.html, not menu.html and pictures.html.

Anyone got a clue how to solve this?

I think itsbecause when you go back.. instead of going bck to the page in the frame only, you are going back to the original frameset.

If you opened the image in a new window, or in the main.html frame you wouldn't have this problem.

There is not enough room to open it in main.html, and I don`t like to open it in a new window, so if there`s some kind of solution, i.e. coding, that`d be great

Hi orjansk,

Although you might not like my solution, I would choose to open the picture in a new window _blank rather than at the top of the same window.  First of all, many, many people expect pics that are a larger version of the thumbnail to open in a new window.  If you open it in the same window, they will likely click out of it and out of your site completely.  Next, if you do open the picture in a new window, your problem is solved, since they don't have to go back to get the page.  The page is still there and open.

I hope this helps.
