Hi all. This is my first post on this forum... I am sure this topic has been beaten to death with a wet noodle ever since frames were created but... anyways here it goes.

Can frames be done tastefully? I remember seeing lots of sites that implement frames poorly. The frames surrounding the main content take up too much of the screen... links to outside pages load into one of the frames.. scroll bars appear all over the page when its not full screen etc.

However, I like the concept of frames. They are convenient and I want to use them... for now at least. So can I use frames without having people retch when they come to my site? Does my page make people want to scream and run?

I think it might look better if the top frame with the word gruckiii would be part of the main frame, rather than a separate frame.  It makes the main section look kind of small in my humble opinion.

it is kind of a lame banner anyways   "[Razz]"

I am guessing you have a resolution of 800x600 or lower... right? It does look kind of cramped in that case. It looks ok at 1024/768 though.

the only reason I am really useing frames is because I wanted the site index and banner on every page.

After reading up on the  difficulties search engines have with framed sites... I might abandon the frames idea all together.
