Hi.
Sometimes on my website, the graphics appear only after I scroll over them.  If I stop halfway down a graphic (for example) only half of the graphic will appear.  Does this have something to do with a black background page perhaps?  Just hoping for some help and thanks a lot in advance.

Are you using any scripting attached to those images?  If you're using IE, go into the Tools...Internet Options...Advanced, and check in to show image placeholders.  This might help you troubleshoot the problem.

If you're not using any scripting, how large are the images?  Are they really big (over 70-700K)?

Could you show us an example?

I went to your website but couldn't find anywhere where it happened.

If you could give us a link, that would be great Smile

Gee...thanks a lot folks.
I really appreciate the help.
I'm glad the problem's not showing up for you.  That's the thing...it is inconsistent ...and intermittent...maybe its a prob with my browser...but I have seen it at work too. I tried checking the placeholder box so let's see what happens.
Agagin...many thanks.

All the images came right up.  What browser are you using, and what version?

i just had a thought, it may or may not apply. the computers i use at school do what i'm going to describe. when a page is loading (it's a slow connection) if you start to scroll, it continues to download the information, but doesn't display it until you stop scrolling. maybe this is what is happening for you?

I too went to your site and the Pics loaded ok but then I'm at work
with a T3 connection.

I did notice in your source code you are not 'Preloading' your images
in the body tag, use the onLoad feature.

Lastly I also see you access 'other' site via HTTP... keep in mind anytime you 'leach' information on your page from another site
the page relies on all those inputs to display so you maybe at the mercy of some 'other' server that isn't up to Lunar speed.
