I am revamping my website and have written all of the html with EditPlus and i tested it locally, looks great!
HOWEVER.......after uploading the pages to my web space (using MS FrontPage) it seems FrontPage wants to "make it's mark" on my code and add a fixed width & height to my gallery images no matter how many times i delete them and
save. This creates a problem as obviously, a portrait formatted pic would not be the same dimensions as a landscape or square one. So FP is stretching my pics to meet the sizing requirements of the first image that is
displayed (it's a mouseover javascript). In FP, i took out the width & height and it STILL stretches the image, arggggggh! I looked in the FP options and unchecked 'enable image resizing', but that didn't work either.

If you go here, you'll see what it's doing, mouse over the square and landscape pics:

i guess i could always just ftp my files, but i like the convenience of updating in real time through FrontPage, so i'd like to find a way to make this work.

thanks in advance!

I don't understand why you are not just doing all your editing in FP.

because FP doesn't let me do all of the things I want to do or have the control I desire.

FrontPage is limiting IMHO, if you are insistent on having a program syncronize your local files to your remote site I would suggest looking into Dreamweaver MX. It is by far more superior than FP. Yes, it is expensive, but unlike FP, it doesn't fool around with your code.

Otherwise I would just continue using your editor and upload via standard FTP.
