I would like to have the ads in my header rotate so that I can charge less and fit more in. I've found a script for rotating the images and linking to the ad's websites here:

http://www.webniche.com/rotate_banners/rotate.html

and it does exactly what I want, but I can't seem to find a way of fitting it into my existing header where the images still rotate. When I try they just become static, so I'm sure there's something I'm missing.

This is where I've been testing it:

http://www.essexmums.org/headertest.html

the ad on the let has the script applied to it, the one on the right doesn't.

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong? Even if it means completely redoing the header, that's fine, I'm more than happy to, I just want it to work!

Thanks!

How about actually running the script?  try adding onload="banner()" to your body tag.

Ah, silly me. How embarrassing and thank you for noticing that!

I've now got it to work okay on one side, as seen here:
http://www.essexmums.org/headertest2.html

but am having trouble if I try to make the same thing happen on the right hand side:

http://www.essexmums.org/headertest.html

I copied the script but renamed the 'gothere' bit left and right which I think it said was okay in the instructions. However, neither moves. The renaming seems okay as the 'left' one works okay on its own. Is there something else I need to do to make two work at the same time or is this not going to work?

I am afraid that you can not simply duplicate the code a second time with all the arrays and functions still having the original names. This will just confuse things.

So is there anything I can do?
