I have started making a website, but I can't find out how to shorten the URL.

If I give my web address to some one like www.mywebpage.com and then I want to them to go to a page called myinterests.html, how do I change it from www.mywebpage.com/myinterests.html to just www.mywebpage.com/myinterests and leave off the .html at the end?

You could rename myinterests.html to index.html

leaving .html off the page name will mean that the page will not be found.

Or just make a directory named: myinterests and put myinterests.html as index.html there.
