I have put /usr/local/bin/ as the path to ImageMagick in my PhotoQ pluggin settings, but I am still getting the following error message (actually it is much longer, but it seems to not be finding ImageMagick)

"All attempts to create GD image source failed.
ImageMagick is not installed (it is highly recommended that you install it).
Source image is too large (2048x1536 = 3.1Mpx, max=1.7Mpx) for GD creation (either install ImageMagick or increase PHP memory_limit to at least 15M)."

Could some one explain what I need to do to get ImageMagick to work and the photos to resize? thank you.

If I am not mistaken ImageMagick is a perl module on the servers, the servers do not use the PHP ImageMagick. You can use GD which is a PHP module on the server. There has been past issues with using gallery2 on accounts which is due to the fact that the program looks for the PHP version. You will likely need to simply redefine the path so it is pointing to the perl path. You can also in the php.ini file increase the PHP memory as well to compensate for the file too large error.
