I have a navigation bar, http://www.barbsmith.net/psdesigns/includes/navigation.htm, that I want to include on every page.

How do you suggest I make it so that if the person is on a particular page, it does something different?  

I was trying to use JavaScript (http://www.barbsmith.net/psdesigns/includes/test_navigation.htm) but it doesn't seem to be working like I thought it would.

Any suggestions?

I take it you would want the white shadow to be the standing image on the current page (or something other than what shows)?

I think you may have to make a separate nav bar for each page.  Or, you could set up variables using php or js or shtml using the REQUEST_URI HTTP_VAR to call up a different image from the navbar "default" in that place if that is the current page.
