looking for your suggestions

I just started with lunarpages.com but can't work on my website until I get someone else's done.

What would you suggest I put on the front page that is professional and lets the guest know that I will be working on it?

I would just put up a nice image (even stock photo, if you wanted) and a couple of lines stating that this site is 'coming soon' and to be sure to check back in a couple of days, or even a javascript countdown.

oh if you wanna be even cooler than that, a quick and subtle flash animation that sorta fades in with a nice stock photo or image of your design with text that slides in or floats in or whatever sayin "coming soon". thats always a nice touch.

There's a nice easy to use shareware flash animator called
"Swish V2" that you can make more or less anything on without having to know Flash that well.
