I hope this is the right forum to post my question.

Anyway, here's the problem. My front page is dull with a capital D. You can see it at http://www.lunarpages.com/mrsgiggles/index.html

Thing is, I have no idea what to do to spice up the page without cluttering it with graphics. I want a speedy-loading page (at least not *that* long), but I don't want so much white space either.

Anyone have any tips? If possible, I'd like to streamline the kitschy, campy appearance of the front page with internal pages like http://popmusic.at/mrsgiggles  - meaning, I'd like to retain the background and keep the layout similar throughout the site.

Thanks! I'll go visit those Javascript/DHTML script collection sites and see what I can find. As for the background - lol. I have permission to use it, mind you, but that's the best I can do with no graphic editor. And don't tell anyone, but I'm fond of it!

Again, thanks for the fadeout suggestion and kind words about the page!
