I've put a password applet on my Login.html page, which takes you to Menu.html, but I'm able to simply type in the URL of any of the other pages linked from the menu and look at them. So much for password access. What am I not doing right?
Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks!

You can't help that if you are using an applet.

What you should do to make it secure is:

Put all the pages you want to be password protected in one directory

Login to your CPanel

Goto the password protecting webpages section

Then, it will be really secure.

Any other method isn't really.

Some php solutions are available, you can look for these at www.hotscripts.com . Some are secure but the best solution is using the control panel to set it up.
