What's the latest and best in Sitemap Generators? I've just used text based sitemaps, but would like to easily generate XML for Google.

I recommend xml-sitemaps.com.  I use the unlimited version and it automatically recreates a high quality sitemap on a regular basis.

If you have a fairly static site you could probably use the free version.

if you are using any type of content management system or blog application like joomla or wordpress, there are lots of free plugins available that will automatically generate an xml sitemapf or you.
