I just submitted a support ticket for this, but thought I'd also ask the Forum members. On the site I administer (www.cca4me.org), I have a slide show about halfway down the page under "College of the Month."  I've used at least 2 different software programs to create slideshows over the past few months, and they look fine on my system--but once I post the shows to the site, the photos are quite blurry and of low quality. If I increase the resolution, then the show takes forever to load. Is the problem the software I'm using? Should I not be using Flash? (I was always under the impression that Flash provided the clearest and best resolution...) Is there a better format for photo slideshows? Or is the problem related to bandwidth?  Any help/guidance/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you displaying the images (slides) at the same size (pixels width and height) as on your computer? Are the images the same size as displayed, or are they being resized on the fly? Browsers are notoriously bad at resizing on the fly (e.g., download a 1024x768 image and display it at 400x300). Ideally, images should be the same size (pixels) as they will be displayed at, so no resizing needs to be done. Also confirm that the browser you're using is not scaling (magnifying) images for you. It should be displaying pages and images at 100% scale. Some people absentmindedly leave their browser in zoom/magnify mode (just a little bit, say 105%), and wonder why images look crummy.
