Red Hat Linux

You could also use phpBB, which you can install from CPanel. It uses 1 MySQL database.

Lunarpages uses mySQL databases and the Linux operating system.

It doesn't matter about the other ones, they are just different types of databases and operating systems.

Yes but it says that Access Database requires a Windows based server, but for linux/unix server you need to use Microsoft SQL or MySQL databases

Yes, do not use the access database with lunarpages, use the mysql one.

Lunarpages uses linux servers, so you should select the mysql database.

The best place to start are the instructions that come with the "snitz" forum.

You can create a mySQL database in CPanel.

Ok I think I’ve almost got the hang of this MYSQL (but this is my first time using a linux server so I’m still very confused), what is the “MYSQL” Data Type for “Microsoft Access” Memo?

Sorry, I don't understand your question.

You cannot use an Access database with a linux system! (well, not normally)

I think the MySQL type that most closely corresponds to Access' memo type is TEXT. (But I'm not entirely sure.)

See this page for MySQL data type descriptions.
