Hi there!

I've set up my cute WTF client and tried to transferred files using the 'binary' /ASCii and Auto mode - however, the images still do not show on my the front page of my site.

Also, the hyperlinks - reflected in my web front page doesn't work too. When it is clicked - it is linked to "page not found".

I was wondering what it is that i've done incorrectly.

the files to be hyperlink-ed - have been uploaded into public_html.

help... Sad

thanks

sabrina

Wondering what type of HTML editor you are using? Seems like maybe the images aren't in the site?

Hi Sabrina.
Try renaming your images folder and images, and take out the capitals, then check in the images folder to make sure they are physically there and change the paths in your index page to reflect the new names.

Code:

http://www.creatingme.org/MEimages/creatingME-logo-small.jpg

Change the name of your folder to:
Code:
images

And the name of your images for example from:
Code:
creatingME-logo-small.jpg

to
Code:
creating-logo-small.jpg

and you would end up with something like :

Code:
http://www.creatingme.org/images/creating-logo-small.jpg

This should work nicely Razz

Do the same again with the names of your files/folders and hyperlinks.
Make sure you don't use any capital letters at all.
Hope this helps you Smile

Hi All!

I've taken away all the capital letters in the titles.  Am using dreamweaver currently.
Have 'made link' to upload my picx and other hyperlinks.

Still doesn't seem to work.

I have a feeling that it could be my path - settings.

When the setting says:
What folder do you want the files to be stored in the server?
what do you write??

Will see what else i can do...
You guys have been very helpful  Wink thanks! sabrina

It's ok, because next time, the same thing won't happen Smile

It will be worth it in the end, I'm sure.
