Hi,
I am attempting to post short videos (1-3 minutes) on my website for family to see.  I have been able to make them work in IE no problem, but firefox does not work properly.  I have done quite a bit of googling for an answer, but don't seem to have a lot of luck - except for the common acknowledgment that it usually does not work.

I visit many websites that all seem to have video no problem (I use firefox).  the video is currently in WMV but I can also save in MPEG-2 (but these files are substantially larger).  Should I instead use MPEG-2?

Does anyone have sample code for a WMV video that works in both IE and Firefox?  The site can be in PHP if that makes it easier to code.

Thanks for any help.

While (I think) IE handles .wmv files natively, FF needs a "plug-in" to invoke WMP (?). I don't recall if I had to do anything explicit to enable it. It may also depend on how the server encodes the image. My FF plays .wmv files that are video/x-ms-wmv type (and possibly other types; I'm not sure).
