If you're looking for free webspace, you've come to the right place.   Lunarpages.com is good, servers are fast, support is friendly, you get 50mb with FTP access. And although there is a popup with free accounts, it is a popup behind which shouldn't affect your visitors much. You can upgrade to a paid account with no ads at all for only $3 per month.  

There are other hosts out there who may provide space with no banners or popups but also may have very slow servers and no support. Free hosts do need to make money somehow since they're providing you with a service for free.
