Creating the store is not the challenge it used to be.you can even use   Paypal.com for free!  All you do is sign up and paste some HTML code into your website and Voila....you've got an instant online shopping cart.

Paypal handles the credit card transactions while depositing the profits into your bank account.

Making Your Own Website follow following steps.
1.Get Your Domain Name
2.Choose a Web Host and Sign Up for an Account,
3.Designing your Web Pages
4.Testing Your Website
5.Collecting Credit Card Information, Making Money
6.Getting Your Site Noticed

Creating a Store easier than Creating your own Website. There are a number of third party sites who offer you to easily build a store of your own choice. You don't need any technical knowledge most of them are free some of them may charge as well. Creating or designing your own website is a bit tedious process and requires technical skills.

Good Luck

Hello Andrew,

Both of creating website and online store is same process.
Web Site has to be well coded to be successful and do exactly you want it to do.

If you looking for something not expensive I would suggest you looking to Wordpress or Joomla, its has variant of templates as well as extensions to turn website into blog or even online store.

You can also use Lunarpages as your web designer and developer!

Thank you!

stores are like shops in a mall where products and customers can be shared along with configuration setting s and administration. You would pick stores if you want one website with multiple faces. They share more than just administration but several setting configurations and checkout as well.

websites are like totally separate sites with distinct users, products and so forth sharing an administration and code base. You would use multiple websites if you would want completely different stores that you could manage in one place. They only share an administration log-in area.
