I am trying to host multiple domains under one hosting account.  The main account is www.empmulch.com (Wordpress site).  I added an add-on domain "miltenbergerlaw".  I want to host a seperate WP site on www.miltenbergerlaw.com.  Where do I download the WP software to?  If I put it as a subfile under Miltenberger Law I can only asscess it at www.miltenbergerlaw.com/blog.  

I am trying to set up the file structure so that I can access the second site under www.miltenbergerlaw.com.  Is this possible?

Any advice is appreciated.  Thanks!

Your primary site empmulch.com has its "root" (HTML /) at /home/ACCOUNT/public_html/
Your add-on site miltenbergerlaw.com has its root at /home/ACCOUNT/public_html/miltenbergerlaw/

You install your new WP blog into / of miltenbergerlaw.com, and check that it went into the right place. What exactly do you mean by "subfile under [add-on domain]"? If you have cPanel, you can't create a subdomain under your add-on (blog.miltenbergerlaw.com is not allowed). I think you can with LPCP. Note that the site may show up as empmulch.com/miltenbergerlaw/ or as miltenbergerlaw.empmulch.com, but that's easily fixed with .htaccess.

You should be able to use Fantastico (on cPanel) or the Web Application thingy on LPCP to install WP directly into the desired domain, and not have to download WP or manually install it. Using FTP with add-on or subdomains can be a bit tricky.

In all of this, I'm assuming Linux/Apache, not Windows/IIS. It would be helpful to know which control panel you have.
