I just FTP'd our website to Lunar Pages server.  I haven't changed the DNS yet but when I try to test the web site, I can access pages one level down but links to other pages return "File not found on this server".  I can open the files from the control panel so they are on the server and working.  Any ideas? (test site is pegasus.lunarpages.com/~demaeng2/)

Thanks Zane

Hi,

Only the public_html directory is accessible over the internet to the public.

The other directories hold your mail, statistics, pictures and code for shopping carts etc.

They do have uses, but for the most part, you only need to use public_html

Hi Stephan,

All of the pages are in the public_html folder.  I can open them in control panel but only some of them show from the web site.  For example, The About link on the web site calls up About.html wich calls aboutbody.html.  Both files are in public_html but about.html opens, aboutbody.html returns the error.

Thanks, Zane

Hi,

I visited your site and clicked a few links.

It could have something to do with case sensitivitity.

On a linux/unix based server, ContactUs and contactUs would be different, for example.
