Hello, this is my first forum post ever! Thanks to past posts from forums (all of you guys' help!) I've been able to answer all of my questions... but now I've hit a roadblock.

I've been attempting to activate Wordpress Network to allow for multi-site. After some writing on my wp-config.php I am able to use subdomains, but I'd rather use subdirectories and that's where I'm having trouble getting it to work. I am confident I won't use a subdirectory name that has been used on any of my site's posts or page, so I know I'm clear on that end.

I went through the steps to reconfigure wp-config.php and .htaccess as Wordpress requires one to do in order to allow for subdirectories but I still can't get it to work and my site breaks. I came across the following text from one of WP support pages:

"Debugging a WordPress Network

If you have reached this page, chances are you have received an error in your WordPress network. This failure occurs when WordPress cannot find one or more of the global tables for the network in the database.

On some shared webhosts, the host has disabled the functionality from running. It is always best to check with your webhost before creating a network to make sure your webhost account fulfills the technical requirements."

Do I need to do something different to my Lunarpages account to enable the functionality from running? or does Lunarpages automatically enables you to create a multisite and it's something I'm still doing wrong?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!!

Maria

DONE! I figured it out! It was definitely something I was doing wrong... I did not need Lunarpages to change/modify anything for me to create a Wordpress Network even when having the most basic of plans Smile
