The other day, while staying at my apartment near college, I was transferring a large number of files from my server to my desktop (via FTP) when my connection suddenly closed. I tried reconnecting a few times without any luck. I then tried to bring up my website (
www.bearsfansonline.com) in my browser and couldn't connect to it either. I finally tried going through an online proxy and was able to view my site. This led me to think my IP was banned. I called Lunarpages and they said there were no IP bans for my website. Still, they added my IP to the whitelist and told me to try again. Again, I wasn't able to connect. They then told me it was a problem with my ISP (Comcast).
I then came home for the weekend and tried to resume copying the files from my server. Again, the connection closed. And again, I can't bring up my website in my browser unless I go through a proxy. This is on a different computer, with a different ISP, and a different router. The only common thing I can see here is Lunarpages. Any idea why this isn't showing up on their end?
