What is the exact location on the server of my raw log file?  (My domain name is on the galaxy server.)  We would like to set up a cron job, and need the exact location for this.

Thank you.

I just noticed that the raw log files have been deleted again.  This makes twice in as many days.

I really need the exact location so I can start these cron jobs.  I've lost 29% of my data on the one domain and 67% on the other.  I'm sorry, but I do not view this as acceptable.

Does anyone here know the location of the logs (not the FTP URL, but the server location)?

Thank you.

As much as I hate to say.. I dont know, and I was unable to find an actual directory for my logfile.

Have you contacted support@lunarpages.com?
They have a pretty fast response time!

I'm not sure if its possible, but you can try:

getting it from:

http://www.yourdomain.com:2082/getaccesslog/

That will send you a copy of your logfile, though I"m not sure how you will handle user rights to access it though.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for the path suggestion.  This path was what I had suggested to my husband (who has actual experience with this sort of thing), but he said that it was doubtful that this was the correct path for the cron job to use.  The cron job needs the actual server location (not the WWW address).

Lunar Pages has not yet gotten back to me with this information.

Thank you, though.

I will setup the cronjob for you. As copying logfiles is not something we would like to put the server on doing all the time.
