I'm new to LunarPages... I just created my forum today, phpBB, and whenever I or anyone else tries to login, the login page gives you a 404 error.
When you go back twice and hit refresh on the index, it logs you in, but it's very annoying, and I can't tell everyone to do that.
Please help.

Humm... I'm not an expert at this stuff so I am probably wrong, but when I had my old forum transfered to my new site, when logging in it would take me to my old site. The reason was that the cookies were set up wrong. If you are able to log in then check the "configuration" section of your phpBB admin panel to make sure the cookie domain is in fact your domain name and not something else.

If that doesn't help, sorry, but as I said I'm no expert, I just use these things I don't really know how they actually work Shock.!!

[edit: if you install the board throught the Cpanel the the cookies should be set up right already (I would asusme) so actually that probably isn't the problem Confused ]

Are you sure you typed the correct path when you installed it?

It asks you for the path to the forum. If this is wrong, then things could go wrong.

I think you should reinstall it, and doublecheck everything.

I used the CPanel to install it, everything seems to work fine but the login.
The only thing I know about PHP is that it resembles C++ code. (I'm primairily a C++ Programmer...)
I checked all the settings I could and everything looks fine, as far as I can tell.

I think it started working now that the DNS is all updated.... I didn't think that would have anything to do with it because I was using the direct link (Pegasus.LunarPages).... Check it out now if you want..

Oh right, I didn't realise your domain wasn't working yet.

That was almost certainly causing the error.
