Under System version check I have the following message:
"Your version of phpBB is not up to date.
Below you will find a link to the release announcement for the latest version as well as instructions on how to perform the update".

I Downloaded the suggested "Automatic Update Package". Instructions say to upload only the Install folder to wherever my root directory is.Huh?  This is where I get lost. Can anyone explain the next steps to completion in layman's language, so that I can update my site?  The Install folder consists of 40 or more individual files. Do I have to upload each one separately? Please, please help!
A big Thanks in advance!!

This guide here might help:

http://www.phpbb.com/support/documents.php?mode=install&version=3#update

Also, did you install in manually when you set it up in the first place, or did you set it up through cPanel's Fantastico option or LPCP's WebApps Pool?

If I remember correctly, I set it up through Fantastico. Thanks for the reply.

I would be willing to pay one of the moderators here to perform the upgrade for me. Please let me know if that is possible.

Might go into cPanel > Fantastico and under your settings, see if there is an update there.

No luck! I had only installed the Image gallery through Cpanel.
