I would like to replace the LP directly to the website to other servers, some servers are lpcp panel. I think I should be able to solve the backup error. Why do not realize that this can?

I see our techs have been checking on this and are still waiting for the Cpanel folks to correct the issue. They have been working with them and providing suggestions to them. Unfortunately, a move to an LPCP server is not a simple thing since we cannot automatically transfer accounts between Cpanel and LPCP due to the differences between the control panels. A move requires the customer to download all files and then upload them to the new server. All settings would also have to be recreated.

*Sigh* If there is a limitation in either end of the FTP (server end or client end), LP needs to acknowledge a size limit that FTP can handle. If the posters are trying to download multigigabyte files, they need to check what the file size limit is on their PC (some Windows versions handle only 2GB or 4GB max files) -- the FTP may be working fine, but files are being corrupted on the PC when they exceed that limit.

In either case, splitting the file into small chunks (.5 to 1GB) should work. You just need to know in advance how to properly reassemble them if you should have occasion to reload them to the server (or you want the full file on your PC for some reason -- if it fits).

First of all, you will need to have a ftp connection established, but I believe that you know all the maneuvers around the connection and how it works. In fact, might it be that your downloads are corrupt or by any chances the files that you wanted are damaged? Most probably it won’t be related as for a file to be damage has a very slight probability for it to happen. MrPhil ‘s assumption might be true.

Googling FTP client size limit, I found some entries suggesting that FTP is limited to as little as 2GB (possibly 4GB).
http://www.linksestore.com/
One source said he'd never been able to transfer more than 4GB on any server or client, while another said he could transfer 150GB on Linux. Another thing to note is that Windows "FAT" filesystems have limits under 4GB, so it's possible that the file corruption occurred on your local machine. Finally, I'm sure that FTP has to keep count of bytes going through somewhere, and 32 bit integers are still the norm, so 2GB or 4GB limits would not be unexpected.
