Heres the deal:
1.I want to put something on the web / net, I want to have my own domain.

From what ive read here so far, LP does not 'sell' domain names, where can I get them? and how exactly do I get them to work with my LP account.

2. In the feature list "mailinglist" is checked, only I cant find how many mailinglist that are...?

Many thanks in advance

There are quite a lot of places where you can get domain names from. I think it depends on what kind of domain you want.

I got mine from http://www.uk2.net and it works perfectly, but that doesn't mean it's the only choice, or the cheapest.

To get them to work with your lunarpages account, you need to change the "nameservers" to the lunarpages.com ones (they are listed in the FAQ's and when you sign up I think)

The company you got your domain from should be able to change them for you.

After that, you have to e-mail support@lunarpages.com with details and they will add your domain to your account.

Your original address (e.g. whatever.lunarpages.com) will be lost, and you will have your own domain.

When you login to your Cpanel (control panel), you should be able to setup your mailing lists. I am not sure how many you can have.
It looks like there isn't a limit.

Hello,

We most certainly do offer domain registration.  We charge $14.95 per year.  You can order the domain at the time you sign up for hosting with us.
