We are currently experiencing an issue with our Las Vegas datacenter that appears to be in our nameservers. Our techs are aware that sites are being redirected elsewhere and are working on it as quickly as possible. We will let you know once it is corrected. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an ETA.

This topic is now closed. Please see here for updated information.

katrina,

 > We will let you know

can you say how you will let  us  know that things are fixed?  Also, what will happen to incoming mail that has not been delivered?  thanks.

We will reply back to this thread once it has been fixed. Email is likely bouncing back to the senders at the moment.

My site is one that's affected by this, being redirected to some foreign site.  Looking at the pagesource, it's got some wonky exe at the bottom of the redirect page.

Is it trying to download and run that exe on redirect?  Should I be telling everyone who hit the site to run a virus scan pronto?

Thanks.

Our site was also redirecting to a phishing site.  We warned our members to stay off until we could be sure it was safe.

All seems to be working at the moment.

Hi Debbie,

This is the direction of most of the issues at this time. Again, our admin team is working diligently to get these issues corrected. I believe at this time some services are restored, however, we will update this ticket once we receive the all-clear from them.

You can attempt to clear your cache, or a safer way would be to check a proxy to see if your site is resolving at this time.

We appreciate everyone's patience during this.

That is correct. Please refrain from posting any links in this thread to site(s) you are being redirected to. This way any possibility of malicious code can be avoided.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me.

Thanks.

Do we need to warn our members that there's a possibility of harmful viruses on their computer?

I am using Firefox and so far, I and others who have attempted to load my site are only getting redirected. No virus files or malware attempting to load in IE, Firefox, Linux, chrome nor Safari.

Reviewing these tickets we have gotten, I have seen no evidence at this time of actual viruses or the like - only redirection.

To be safe, as I suggested, use a Proxy to check your site for connectivity until we confirm the issue has been resolved.
