What are the password rules? I'm trying to change my password in the CPanel, but it keeps telling me that my new password is too similar to my old password (not even close, I assure you, except that it has the same number of characters).

Thanks.

CPanel uses the rules from the UNIX/Linux operating system.

It is very strict about passwords, you have to choose a completely different one.

If you would like your password reset because you have lost or forgotten it, mail support@lunarpages.com.

We resent passwords if you have changed your password since your original account signup.  If you haven't changed it but simply forget it, then request that your critical account information is resent to you.

Please provide us with your account username, and for security verification please also provide your telephone number, zip code and the last 4 digits of your credit card when you mail in this request.
