Does anyone have experience using LP just for web hosting (i.e. without having them as registrar for at least one domain name)? 

I want to consolidate all of my domain names with one registrar (not LP, sorry).  Currently, I have one domain name with LP.  I'm pretty clear on how to transfer the name elsewhere.  I'm just not sure how to keep it linked to my site here.  Do I just point it to the LP domain name servers, and they (magically) still know where to send my traffic?  Do I need to do anything else?

Hi Arty,

There should not be any problem with that. you would just need to make sure that you are using the nameserver set for the server your account is hosted on with the registrar that the domains are registered through. Sure you can, i have 20 domain names and not one of them was bought from LP.
