Ok, Max, here's a couple of questions. I know you said "In about two weeks you will be able to host serveral sites with us that point to diffrent directories with just one account" but I'm not sure if what you are saying relates to what I want to do.

I currently have one domain at Lunarpages called charleston-press.com. I have another domain parked elsewhere callled la-legal.com that will end up being the primary site. Yet another domain sited elsewhere is called louisiana-legal.com.

Here is what I want to do: I would like to move la-legal here to be my primary site. Louisiana-legal only needs to re-direct to la-legal in case someone types in the full name. Charleston-press can stay as it is--I'm not sure yet whether it is better to leave it as a separate site or make it a sub-domain of la-legal.

What is the best and most cost-effective thing for me to do? Were you saying that charleston-press, la-legal and louisiana-legal could all be hosted here as one account in the near future? As I said, charleston-press would be very small, louisiana-legal would not really exist, but la-legal will probably end up as a large site.

I need to go ahead and start moving on this, so let me know what you think would be the best way to proceed.

They can all be hosted here without any problems (in the near future).

You will be able to split up your webspace into sections and have the domains pointing to any section you like.

 - For no extra charge.

Lunarpages is very flexible about things like domain names, customised and strange setups are usually no problem.

So I'm clear.. soon there will be the ability to have one account and several domains pointing to different areas within a directory? i.e main account: www.mydomain.com and it points to root/pub/

I own also, www.myotherdomain.com and it points to [same root]/pub/myotherdomain

all without unique IP's right?

(forgive my server ignorance please  "[Wink]" )

Soooo.. is the two weeks up yet? If not, what is a realistic timeline? Any alternative in the meantime?

The ability to point domains to different directories is available now for a small additional monthly fee.  We also offer a dedicated ip address for a small monthly fee.

Please email support@lunarpages if you wish either of these options.

What is the "small fee" for hosting multiple domains?  I couldn't find it on your site.

Thanks

On this subject, when I signed up with Lunarpages, I asked support in an email to point a second domain, pumpkinwizard.com to my primary domain newly hosted on their service, carvingpumpkins.com.  Right now, pumpkinwizard.com doesn't resolve to anything that I can see.  Is this just another DNS delay, or did the second domain not get pointed.

Thanks,
Brad

Oop.. I think I found it.. $2.50 per month per domain?

Each additional domain falls under the same 20G and 200M account right?
