My site was temporarily suspended because of excessive usage and then temporarily unsuspended for 24 hours.

I go to my site and all I see is basically a list of pages and folders.  The actual site doesn't seem to be working.  When I try to access wordpress pages, I get a 500 Internal Server Error.  I'm at a loss for what I should do.  Here is my homepage:

http://www.baseball-intellect.com/

Here is an example of one of my wordpress pages:

My dashboard still works fine.

I'm also wondering about how I can reduce the amount of resources being used...the bulk of the usage is apparently coming from my wp-cron and admin-ajax php wordpress pages.  Does anybody know how I can reduce the amount of resources they use?  Can I disable the wp-cron page?  Any other ideas?  Thanks.

Does it still give the error if you disable wp-supercache? Is there supposed to be a full install of Wordpress under public_html? I don't see it. I do see it in a subfolder.

I just uninstalled WP supercache and I still get the error.

No, there is not supposed to be a full install of Wordpress under public_html.

When I called support early in the afternoon, the help guy renamed the wp-cron and admin-ajax pages to "deactivate" them so I could get my site unsuspended.  When my site was turned back on again, I saw what you currently see now.  So I then went back to the renamed pages and named them back to what they once were, but that didn't change anything.  Not sure if what's going on now can be traced back to the deactivation of those two pages.

I see a file named old_index.php ... rename that file to index.php and it will work.

P.S. I'm surprised that you didn't see this katrina1 ...
