I have had a few people asking me what Lunarpages cPanel theme and control panel in general looks like - so here is a screen shot for those who are interested.  If you have any other pre-sales or sales questions, remember you can always reach us around the clock, 24/7 and 365 at sales@lunarpages.com.

As you can see, it is pretty slick looking indeed.  Thumbs Up

Yes, our Windows hosting plans use Plesk (the Windows Plan) while our Linux hosting plans (Basic & Business) use cPanel.

Not anymore, unfortunately.  I signed up a new client a few weeks ago and we were put on a painfully slow, non-cpanel server "Alpaca".    The admin panel that is being given out to new accounts now is terrible, slow, and doesn't work very well.  The file manager "QuiExplorer2" looks like something that a novice PHP programmer wrote in their spare time.  It doesn't even have options to set permissions.

Very disappointed, between this and the outages lately (familia's 3 day outage 2 weeks ago!), I have started pointing my clients to a different host, I'm honestly tired of trying to explain away all the negatives of LP hosting in the last 6 months.

Actually customers have the option now to pick from two different Linux-based control panels, the LPCP or cPanel.  As far as permissions, it does have the ability - which has been covered here:

http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Changing_File_Permissions_in_LPCP

Feel free to PM me with any other suggestions or how-tos you think that are needed, and I'll get them up ASAP.  Thanks!

yes. but one is free & the other is "cPanel Control Panel $2.00/mo". i won't be paying an extra $2.00 a month to use something that's free at other hosts. period.

Setting up Private Nameserver with Cpanel ... Lunarpages provides 2 IPs with the dedicated server. One is for the server itself, and the other ... The file should be edited to look like this: domain yourdomain.com search yourdomain.com....

Thanks and may can useful for you...

changed 3 IPs to 2 IPs as we do not provide 3 IPs any longer for dedicated. It has been 2 IPs for about 2.5 years.
