Just curious, why are you giving him FTP access to your hosting account?

Our shared hosting services are designed and restricted in our Terms of Service where only one person (or which can be extended to family members) can have access to the hosting account. You won't be able to provide hosting services free or for charge on the shared hosting plans.

To answer your original question, yes, he would have the ability to upload scripts which can have access to the rest of your account.
