PC to Mac Pro

I finally had to switch from a PC to a Mac. I chose the Mac Pro Quad Xeon for the speed and stability. My photo editing software just was to subject to glitches on the PC and I had too much down time.

I need to redo my photography site which is photo intensive. I thought I would ask here if someone knew of good software for Mac that would ease the pain of dealing with Joomla and Coppermine. I want to get this done without having to learn a different language at the same time, such as Joomla. I know that there are many point and click offerings for PC and was wondering if there were some Unix based apps that would work better now that I am back to Mac. Thanks.

Hi,
I use iPhoto to manage my images on the mac and then develop websites with Dreamweaver MX. Dreamweaver CS3 is now out, might be worth a look.

Not sure what your skill level is? At some point you'll have to create a site, you could use Joomla, or create one yourself using dreamweaver, if you don't want to learn either of those try iWeb on your mac.

I agree. My wife and I use iPhoto, and it works real well.

If you need something more, I would look at Graphics Converter, or Fireworks.
