You might want to check out this resource: http://sharethis.com/It will allow you to have the "send to a friend" like usability and also allow people to bookmark or submit your link using all the different bookmark saving and ranking web sites out there. |

I've been checking out Share This. So far looks good though still in the introductory stages of development and proliferation. Its advantage over the traditional Tell A Friend tools is that in addition to email it has easy integration with blogs and social networking sites. Here's some more information from the Share This people.

The simplest tell-a-friend is a mailto: hyperlink that includes the subject line and body text. This has the advantage that the email comes from the known sender and the sender fills in the recipient's email address. Because the email comes from the known friend it doesn't look like spam to the recipient. <a href="mailto:?subject=A Web Site You Might Like
