Hi All,

Anyone have any experience on how long it might take for an AdWords ad campaign to be reviewed and approved by Google?

I originally set up an ad and it was approved in a day or two. It was active for a bit, but then I decided to edit the ad slightly and add an additional ad variation to the rotation. It's been a week now and although it states that the campaign is active, the ads are not showing.  I was sent a generic reply from Google in response to my question that all ads go in a queue to be reviewed and it would be reviewed shortly.

Thanks for any info,
Jack

I'm still new to AdWords.  I remember shortly after I set it up, I did not see any increased impressions in my Google account.  But, I could get the ad to appear in a Google search.  So, maybe it takes a while for stats to update?  I don't know.  I've hardly had time to do anything with my account.

Thanks for the reply..

An update for those that may be interested:
Google finally approved the Ad - It took 14 days from submission to approval. Not sure if that is typical.

A tip to those that use AdWords... Probably best to just submit additional ad variations rather then edit an existing ad. That way your current ad will remain up and running while the new one is in the approval process.
