Feel free to move this post to a better area...I couldn't find an appropriate place Very Happy

I am currently using a WI-FI network at a hotel and the folks have blocked my ports, 25 and 587. As a result I can't send mail. After a bit of experimenting, I found Google Gmail will do the job I need. Since it is web based, I have access. Plus it will allow me to set up 5 POP3 accounts that I have in OE. FYI, I can't get the webmail to work either, so the Gmail is the savior. Since it is free, and solved an emergency problem, I thought I would toss the idea out in case it can help someone else......Since I have played around with the Gmail for a bit, I am impressed Applause

A little off-topic, but Gmail or the like is good to have anyway. Customers tend to have their contact email at their LP site, and guess what happens when the site is down or the account is suspended? Yep, no way to contact the customer by email. It's good to have a regularly-used email account independent of LP, as well as independent of your ISP (so you can walk away from them and take your email account with you).

To use your LP webmail behind firewall, install cpanelproxy:

Wonder why no one at support suggested the cpanelproxy? SUre had enough emails to them Very Happy I'll give it a try later and see what happens.....thanks
