i want to use a PHP graphing package, but it requires Freetype and gd.

does nasa have those?

Dunno about FreeType, but the GD version, at least, should show up on your phpinfo:

If FreeType would be installed as part of/an extension to PHP, it will probably show up in the list, if installed.
