Hi there,

I don't know if I am posting at the right place... but still... Huh

Ok here is the problem... I have a news site running on WordPress and I regularly post 3-4 news in the same. It was all working fine with plugins and everything. But from the past one week it is having problems.
As soon as i publish any post my sites homepage goes down. All pages work except for the homepage.  Sad Angel
I first thought it was due to some plugins, and i deactivated few and the blog was running perfectly... Now again the same thing happens.. Whenever I post a new topic my homepage goes down... and then randomly I deactivate some plugin and the blog starts again...
This is happening every single day...

Now I don't thing this is due to some plugin because I have already deactivated almost all the plugins...

What might be causing my sites homepage to go down everytime...  Sad

What plugins are you using? Could you give us a list we could check into for you?

so that is when you deactivated the plugins WP Greet Box, WP-ContactForm, Subscribe To Comments, and Dagon Design Form Mailer?

Now again the same thing happens

Well, if it is still happening, might not be one of those plugins.  You might need to do more testing to eliminate each plugin (one by one) and see if one plugin is directly tied to the problem.  So activate them all, then publish, then see if your site dies.  If it does, remove one, try to post, and see if fixes it.  Lot of manual labor, but hunting down a cause of an issue like this always is.

When your page isn't working, is there a specific error code or message that comes up after trying to publish the post? If you could share that with us, that might help too.

Ya I deactivated those plugins plus removed lots many more.. which were not needed.
There is not error on the site / homepage.

I will try the solution you have suggested...

Activating all the plugins first.. and then trying deactivating individual plugins and checking...  Crying or Very sad

hi

I again faced the same problem.
This time I deactivated all the plugins and the site started to work fine.

Then I went on activating plugin one by one... and this is the plugin on which the site got stuck... Wp2BB

Well sounds like you found the plugin culprit, which is a good thing.  Might try keeping it disabled if you can for a day or so, see if you notice the problem come back - and/or make sure you are using the most latest version of the plugin (1.4.1).

Another alternative (and what I sometimes use with joomla) is deactivate all plugins for 24 hours, make a few posts, then see if the issue occurs.

If it doesn't, then most likely a plugin and you need to check each one individually.

If the issue does still occur, and you have no plugins active, then could be something with the wordpress install, or with the posts you are doing if you include any html/php code into them.
