Website or web page load time should be less than 1sec.

Is this supposed to be a serious question? I could see asking about the maximum time that it should take for a page to load but this nonsensical post asks what is the minimum time for a web site to load. I guess the answer would be that the minimum time to load a site should be slightly more than 0 seconds. Anything before that would greatly confuse the user.

I`d say we should discuss about the optimum load time for a website which should actually be under 1 second. However there is no minimum since minimum could easily mean 1 millisecond Smile

Hello..

There is no specification for the loading time of the site. But ideally it should be in between 1 to 10 second...

The question could have been worded more clearly, but presumably what the question meant was minimum load speed or its inverse, maximum load time. I would say that a load time of anything between 0 and 500 milliseconds would be fast enough to satisfy anyone short of a high-frequency trader (who pays big bucks to have his computer literally right next to other computers it needs to talk to), or maybe a heavy online gamer. More than a second or two (for a fairly complex page) is going to be noticed by most people. If it's long enough for a typical user to start drumming their fingers and fixate on how long they're waiting; it's far too long. For me, that comes in at around 5 seconds, but it will vary from person to person. Anyone demanding "instant" loads is psychotic and needs a nice long-sleeved jacket.

There is no specified time for the loading of the site. But the less is the time, the better it is.To reduce the loading we need to take care of the size of the files used in the site.If the size will be more, the loading time will also be more. More loading time may increase the bounce rate for the site which is not good for the site.

I was thinking the exact same thing. The minimum load to for a website should be zero.

I think people have been getting overly stressed out about site load speed ever since Google announced that they would be using it as a ranking signal.

So long as your site has a reasonable load speed it should be fine, there's no real reason to worry.

You should however get it as fast as possible from a user experience perspective.

It is good to have a less load time.
You can improve result of your site's Load time by fewer redirects, Compress size of your page & avoid use of interstitial pages.

Good Question: But it is total depends upon the technology and product base. May be which Website has maximum product so that will take time to display the page.
Generally most of website should be take 1 to 10 second. It is proper timing.

It depends on the internet and surfing speed, normally it takes 3 to 4 seconds to load a normal website

There is no best download time to try and reach – basically you need to try and download your page as fast as possible!
Some sites that require a lot of photography or virtual tours can be excused for slow download times and people will blame their network connection. Most sites however don’t have this luxury. normally its take 1-4 seconds.
